Kate Bell
Kate Bell (born November 12, 1983, in Armidale, New South Wales) is an Australian actress. She discovered her passion for the stage at an early age. After finishing school, she studied Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong from 2001 to 2004, focusing on screen production and theater. Starting in 2002, she also studied opera and dance.
She had her breakthrough in 2005 with the role of Rebecca “Bec” Sanderson in the teen series Blue Water High. She appeared in guest roles in the second season and returned in the third season as the coach of the new Surfkids. Further television appearances followed: in 2006 on The Chaser’s War on Everything, in 2009 on Home and Away, and in 2010 on Neighbours.
In her free time, she loves being out on the water—her favorite hobby is windsurfing.
